Load Views

Option 4 – LOAD VIEW on the tablesONLINE VIEW UTILITY MENU (see Figure 220) allows a View to be created from field definition information in a standard sequential dataset. After selecting this option, the tablesONLINE LOAD VIEW DEFINITION screen appears, as illustrated in Figure 224.

To load a View, the associated Data Table must exist in the same library.

Input Dataset Name

Type the name of the dataset that contains the data being loaded to create the View.

Name of Library

Type the name of the library that contains the View in this field.

Name of Table

Type the name of the View being loading to in this field.
