Unload View

Option 5 – UNLOAD VIEW on the tablesONLINE VIEW UTILITY MENU (see Figure 214) copies the formatting information contained in a View to a standard sequential dataset. It is the opposite function of Option 4 – LOAD VIEW. On selecting Option 5, the tablesONLINE UUNLOAD VIEW DEFINITION screen appears, as shown in Figure 219.

Name of Library

Type the name of the library that contains the View in this field.

Name of Table

Type the name of the View that you are unloading in this field.

Output Dataset Name

Type the name of the dataset that the View definition is being copied to.
