Command interpretation errors are detected during the parsing of command sequences. When a command interpretation error occurs, an error message is issued and DK1MEXEC proceeds with the next command sequence.

| Invalid name specified | Alias and VTS names must be one to eight characters. The first character must be alphabetic or one of the national characters @, $, or #. Remaining characters must be alphabetic, numeric or one of the national characters @, $, or #. |
