tableBASE CICS Interface

The DataKinetics® tableBASE® base product is shipped with a batch interface. The tableBASE CICS Interface provides the capabilities of tableBASE for CICS online applications.

The tableBASE CICS TS Interface gives you immediate performance benefits right up front—better transaction response time and increased CICS throughput, due to a dramatically shortened path length when accessing table data. It contains much internal functional efficiency that significantly reduces system overhead, and some external ones as well. For example, tableBASE tables do not require JCL to start up and run—a large insurance company requiring a few thousand tables for its daily operations found this a welcome feature for reducing the complexity and elapsed time requirements of its daily system scheduling protocol.
